Ptosis Surgery for Good Eyesight

Ptosis is defined as an abnormal appearance of the eye that is usually called as the drooping eyes. Drooping eyes may be genetic causing the patient to have poor eyesight. Ptosis may be achieved for long hours of being awake. The muscles in the eyes are tired causing the eye lid to drop down gradually. After the surgery, the patient could experience some swelling on his eyelids that usually happens after the procedure. In most cases, the recovery will take from three months up to 6 months. Complications may happen if the newly operated areas are not properly taken care of. The treated area should be far from having moisture and always keep dry at all times. The wound should be cleaned regularly by the doctors to avoid infections.
